I have to tell you I squealed when I saw you live in Australia, I have always had a string desire to visit there, though why I can not say. I just think its a very beautiful place, at least I most ardently hope so.
your stories sound really neat, I cant wait to read more about them, My sister and I love the 40s and your story sounds perfect. I have three sisters too, well technically four but the eldest is married and no longer lives at home, sisters are the best.

    1. After almost a year, I look on this page and realize I have not replied to the sweet, beautiful comments left for me by the best readers I could ever wish for!

Thank you, dear Rachel, for leaving this sweet, encouraging message! I have so much to learn as a writer, (honestly, I sometimes simply hate what my pen produces!), but I am deeply flattered that you really enjoy this blog and what I write. Thank you!

Oooh, Australia is a fabulous country to live in and call home! While I have honestly only seen a small portion of the country (the eastern coast), all of it has been simply beautiful. One day, I long to visit the rest of the states outside of NSW and QLD :). One day you should come to Australia and visit!

May I ask what first intruiged you with Australia? :)
What part of the US do you live in? One day, I'd love to visit America!

Aww, that is so sweet that you have several sisters as well. Sisters are one of the greatest earthly blessings God could have granted me, and I am so glad He did with three amazing ones!

*squeals and turns pink* you are so sweet, I am glad you like the sound of my WW2 novel! I love the era of the 1940s too.

    1. Cait, that is so sweet of you. Your blog is so much fun, and it has indeed been special to get to find a lovely Aussie blog with Aussie bloggers, likewise :). I have lived in NSW for a few years (first Sydney, then Coffs Harbour) before moving to QLD, so NSW is still quite a special, familiar memory for me, and the place of my childhood years.

It has been fun getting to know you too!

  10. Oh, thank you for the sweet comment you left on my blog. I want to read THings We Couldn't Say badly and it is currently on my to-read list. To answer your question on what camera I use: its a Canon Rebel t5i.
I just recently bought it and love it and hope to start my own photography business after I graduate high school.
WW2 history is something I love as well and yes, you must look into Sophie Scholl she is one of my favorite people to read about.

  14. Hello there! I found your blog today, and after looking through all of your pages and several of your posts, consider yourself to have a new follower! Your blog looks excellent, and very well put together. I, too, am a homeschooled, Christian writer (tending more toward Fantasy and Science Fiction, though), who likes most of the authors you mentioned on your about page. Your novels-in-progress look very interesting, and I look forward to seeing more of your posts on this blog.

Even though I write more historical fiction, some of my most favorite novels and stories are within the fantasy genre. Tolkien and Lewis are my absolute favorite!
