Release Date Announcement of Pendragon's Heir

Earlier this year, I got first discovered Suzannah Rowntree and her blog, Vintage Novels. She guest-posted recently on Fullness of Joy blog, How To Balance Your Literary Diet.

Suzannah features some great reviews of the classics on her blog, and I love how she constantly introduces us to unheard of gems of literature, and offers thoughtful perspectives on works of fiction from a solid, Christian foundation. She's written non-fiction works before about such classic legends, both in her book, War Games: Classic Fiction for the Christian Life, and "An Epic Reformation: A Guide to the Faerie Queene" and now she is picking up her own pen in the telling of such classic stories!

So today I am really delighted, as well as excited to announce the release date of Suzannah's new novel, which is also an Arthurian legend - Pendragon's Heir! From the teasing snippets, and from what she's shared on her blog, I am definitely looking forward to reading it as it looks great!

Here is what it is about. . .

Pendragon's Heir
Blanche Pendragon enjoys her undemanding life as the ward of an eccentric nobleman in 1900 England. It's been years since she even wondered what happened to her long lost parents, but then a gift on the night of her eighteenth birthday reveals a heritage more dangerous and awe-inspiring than she ever dreamed of--or wanted. Soon Blanche is flung into a world of wayfaring immortals, daring knights, and deadly combats, with a murderous witch-queen on her trail and the future of a kingdom at stake. As the legendary King Arthur Pendragon and his warriors face enemies without and treachery within, Blanche discovers a secret that could destroy the whole realm of Logres. Even if the kingdom could be saved, is she the one to do it? Or is someone else the Pendragon's Heir?

Pendragon's Heir releases on March 26, 2015. This is a book I am very much looking forward to reading; I am only faintly familiar with the Arthurian legends, but my curiosity for this era of literature has grown strongly over the past several years. It will be great to see such a great tale as that of King Arthur play out in Suzannah Rowntree's novel "Pendragon's Heir"

While waiting with eagerness for the cover-reveal and the release of Pendragon's Heir, you can add it to your shelves on Goodreads!
